Nokia 6 (2018) launched: Price & Specifications Revealed

Nokia 6  will be the first phone launched by HMD Global in 2018. This new Nokia smartphone is the decedent of Nokia 6 released last year and the phone is debuting in China.

The pre-orders of Nokia 6 (2018) have started but the proper sale of the phone will start from January 10th.  The phone will be available in 32GB and 62GB variants. The price of the 32GB variant will be CNY 1,499 almost PKR 26,000 and the 62GB variant price will be CNY 1,699 that is almost PKR 29,000. The color options for Nokia 6 (2018) are black and silver.

Nokia 6 (2018) model will have a back fingerprint scanner unlike the last year released Nokia 6 that had a front-facing scanner. Moreover, the capacitive keys that were parts of previous Nokia release will not be part of this phone.  The body of Nokia 6 (2018) has a metal unibody and it is made of almost 6000 series aluminum.

The phone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat, it is dual-SIM, and it will be updated to Android 8.0 Oreo. Coming to the display of the phone it has 5.5-inch IPS display, 1080×1920 pixels resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. Moreover, Nokia 6 (2018) has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC, 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, microSD card slot that can go upto 128GB and a hybrid dual-SIM configuration.

Coming to the camera of the phone, it has a rear camera16-megapixel and 8-megapixel front camera. The back camera has dual-tone LED flash and PDAF lens with f/2.0 aperture and the front camera has f/2.0 aperture and 84-degree wide-angle lens. The phone has Dual-Sight technology with which users can take simultaneous snaps from front and rear camera, also called Bothie.

Other connectivity features of the phone include have FM radio, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v5, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and 3.5mm audio jack.
