Nokia Officially Starts Nokia 8000 4G Promotion

HMD Global, licensee for the Nokia brand for smartphones and other cell phones, intends to present a new edition of one of the best-known cell phone series from Nokia from earlier years with the Nokia 8000 4G. As reported earlier that Nokia will revamp classic models Nokia 8000 and Nokia 6300 soon, the company has now officially released a poster shared by a Twitter leaker @rquandt

In addition to its Android smartphones, HMD continues to sell simple mobile phones under the Nokia brand. With the Nokia 8000 4G, an old model series that once consisted primarily of “noble models” is being brought into the modern age. With the new Nokia 8000, too, the focus is obviously on a classy look.

The Nokia 8000 is said to come with a “premium design” that the manufacturer describes as “similar to glass” and that has strongly curved edges on the front. The keys are also designed “3D curved” and offer the usual assignment, as you know from other mobile phones with KaiOS. HMD has given the Nokia 8000 4G the modern operating system for feature phones, which is used on the 2.8-inch LCD with a QVGA resolution of 320×240 pixels. Inside the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 quad-core SoC, which was previously used in smartphones and is combined here with 512 megabytes of RAM and four gigabytes of internal flash memory. The memory can be expanded by up to 128 GB using a microSD card.

The Nokia 8000 has a 2-megapixel camera on the back. In addition to quad-band GSM, the device supports 4G networks, WLAN and Bluetooth. Two NanoSIM slots are integrated. The replaceable battery has a capacity of 1500mAh and is charged using a micro USB cable. The device weighs 110 grams. In addition to the Nokia 8000, HMD Global also wants to bring the Nokia 6300 4G onto the market, but we have not yet received any specific information or images.
