Nothing OS 2 is set to make its way to Nothing Phone (1)

Nothing debuted the Nothing Phone (2) just recently with Nothing OS 2. However, the new Android skin updates were not rolled out to Nothing Phone (1) users. As per some recent pieces of information, the updates are now ready to be rolled out to Nothing Phone (1).
Last year, during an interview, Carl Pei claimed that in order to make Nothing OS a unique Android skin, great manpower is required. The business was having a hard time recruiting developers to work on the software. Because of this, the initial release of Nothing OS resembled stock Android 11. However, the company is now more powerful with its two phones and several TWS earbud pairs.
Nothing OS 2 will be introduced to the Nothing Phone (1)
Carl Pei shared via a tweet that the updates have begun rolling out to Nothing Phone (1) users. Coming towards Nothing OS 2, the overall appeal and look of the software are quite distinct as compared to Nothing OS 1. Nothing’s dot matrix aesthetic is more pronounced with the latest updates. According to Carl Pei, the main focus of Nothing OS 2 is the home screen.
The company has introduced several new changes to the home screen. The modifications include an analog clock widget, some quick settings widgets, and lock screen widgets. Furthermore, the updates include several options for the folders. Users can choose the classic square folder or the circular folder option. Even having folders and icons serve as the cover rather than actual apps is an option.
Some other notable features of Nothing OS 2 include running several instances of the same app. Furthermore, users can select important notifications. A Glyph Interface will light up and notify users about the important notification.
