Nothing Phone (2) will debut internationally in July

As per recent information, the CEO of Nothing has declared that the Nothing Phone (2) is set to make its international debut in July. Notably, it is the second generation of smartphones by the company. The device will launch simultaneously all around the globe. Thus, indicating that the smartphone will be available in the US market as well as other markets of the world.

The recent pieces of information were shared by the CEO during an interview with Forbes. However, the official has not specified any exact date for the smartphone launch but he did share the timeline of July. Last year, the company debuted the Nothing Phone (1) on July 12.

Besides this, the CEO has unveiled that the second generation smartphone by the company will be powered by a 4,700mAh battery. It is slightly bigger than the 4,500mAh battery found in the Phone (1). The smartphone is said to be fueled by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip. It will offer an 80% improved performance as opposed to the Phone (1).

This time, the company will introduce the Nothing Phone (2) in all regions of the world at the same time. However, this was not the case with the Phone (1). Previously, the smartphone arrived in the US market six months after its global debut. The device was launched in the US market with several negotiations such as lacking a warranty and inaptness with most 5G bands.

As of now, the company will introduce an FCC-certified smartphone for US consumers. It will have support for all wireless network bands. According to Pei, the US is an Apple-dominated market. It has fewer alternatives. So, there is a good opportunity for the Phone (2). Well, time will clarify whether Android can prove to be a better alternative to iPhone or not. Previously, the company sold around 750,000 units of Nothing Phone (1). It is almost half the total number of first-gen iPhones sold.
