Now, Google Maps will drop you off at the appropriate location entry

Several new and advanced features have been added to Google Maps app since its debut. Despite all the advanced features, the app missed out on a basic feature. We are talking about the feature that shows the entrance to a location or a building. Because it lacks this capability, Google Maps frequently points you in the direction of building sides without entrances, leaving it up to users to find the location’s entry. Finally realizing that Maps is lacking this fundamental functionality, Google is now bringing it to the platform.

According to some recent pieces of information, the latest Android version 11.17.0101 of the Google Maps app comes with this feature. This version supports the new feature for a few locations in Germany and the US. The entry location is shown by a white circle with the entry symbol. In addition, the platform turns a location’s background red when tapping it, making it easier for you to identify from other places. According to Android police, many locations’ entrances are displayed inaccurately on the site.

Currently, the new feature is undergoing testing. For this reason, it is only accessible to a few users. There are no details on when this feature will be available to all users. However, we can expect it to arrive within the next few months. One thing to notice here is that addition of entrances to all location is a time taking task.
