Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Benchmark Leaks Show Great Performance

The publication of the Geforce RTX 5060 Ti is imminent. Now the first benchmark results have been leaked. However, it is questionable whether the card will be as popular as its predecessors due to a good price-performance ratio.

In the meantime, it has been over three months since Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang presented the new Blackwell graphics cards in the form of the Geforce RTX 5090, RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 (Ti) as part of his keynote. However, according to rumors, the model should finally come onto the market that most gamers are probably interested in: the RTX 5060 Ti.

As early as the 3000 and 4000 series, the 60s variants were by far the most popular and, due to their good price-performance ratio, went more often over the counter than others. The expectations of the RTX 5060 Ti are also correspondingly large. First leaks now give a preliminary impression on the performance of the model.

First performance data leaked

With the 8-gigabyte variant of the RTX 5060 Ti, the lead to the predecessor should be even lower and the distance from the RTX 5070 continue to grow.

Doubt about price-performance

Whether the purchase is worthwhile depends primarily on the specific prices that manufacturers demand for their versions of the Geforce RTX 5060 Ti. Since the RTX 5070, which is significantly more powerful, according to the benchmarks, is currently available for less than 620 euros in different versions, prices could look a little different at the actual start of sales. Otherwise, the RTX 5060 should probably remain on the shelves. The GeForce RTX 5060 Ti – at least for the market launch – does not seem to be a model with a particularly good price -performance ratio. It is questionable whether it can therefore continue the tradition of the particularly successful 60s variants.
