Nvidia Lightening Graphics Card: ‘GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Next Generation Card’

Nvidia recently announced its next generation incredible graphics card: the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti.

Nvidia’s CEO Jen-Hsun Huang revealed the new graphics card at the Game Developers Conference in United States, San Francisco, in the conference he promised that the GTX 1080 Ti not only provided “elevated performance by 35%” than its predecessor (GTX 1080), but also it leaves behind the current monster of Graphic cards the Titan X— GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is priced at $699 whereas Titan X is priced at $1200 in the market.

Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti Specifications

The GTX 1080 Ti is much heavier in specifications as compared to the regular GTX 1080, Ti has 11 GB with speeds 11gbps DDR5X VRAM, on contrary its predecessor has 8 GB. Comparatively the Titan X beats all cards in RAM — 12 GB — but relatively it runs at slower speeds of 10 Gbps, and falls behind the new GTX in terms of bandwidth and computing power. The GTX 1080 Ti also has improved energy efficiency. Titan X is considered a power hog, which pulls 220 watts, slightly better than the older cards which used to pull around 250 watts.

According to Nvidia the new GTX 1080 Ti will be available in stores this month, and it will also offer reduced prices on GTX 1080, the new price of older cards is expected $500. The new GTX 1080 Ti will be heaven for PC gamers, in order to build a brand new rig for your PC gaming, you might want to ditch the last year’s card — the GTX 1080 Ti looks to produce next generation gaming experience.
