October 2022 update by Samsung improves security for Galaxy A52

Samsung introduced the security update to Galaxy A52 in October 2022. This update followed the second One UI 5.0 beta update. Previously the second One UI 5.0 beta update was accessible in India.  But for now, the October 2022 security update is available in a more stable form indicating the wider rollout for Galaxy A52 users.

The recent software update is accompanied by firmware version A525FXXS4BVI3. Currently, the software update is available in Russia. But quite soon we can expect the massive rollout in various other markets. The security update feature as of October 2022 resolves the privacy and security risks. Thus, improving the stability as well as reliability of the device.

Galaxy A52 users in Russia can download and install the new software updates to their devices. To update the device, go to Settings. Click Software update. Download and install the latest updates. Additionally, the latest firmware file can be accessed and downloaded manually from the firmware database.

The Galaxy A52 with Android 11 having One UI 3 software was released by Samsung last year. Earlier this year the devices received the Android 12-based One UI 4 updates. Another update to Galaxy A52, One UI 5.0 beta was released by a Korean firm in India. It is now assumed that the new and improved Android 12 update will be released in the few upcoming months.
