One-Third of Pakistanis Believe that China will become the Next Global Superpower

Gallup & Gilani Pakistan carried out a survey in which it was revealed that one-third Pakistanis i.e. 34% believe that China will be the next global superpower, as per Gilani Research Foundation Survey.

All across Pakistan representative sample of men and women were questioned, “In your opinion, which country will be the next superpower of the world?”

The options that were given to them were America, China, India, Pakistan or others. Respondents had to choose from the given options.

In response to the question, 34% of Pakistanis said that they believe that China will be the next superpower. 31% of Pakistanis said that Pakistan will become the next superpower while 23% believed that America will retain its position as the global superpower. 2% of respondents believed that India will be the next superpower while 3% said that some other country will be the next superpower.

7% of the respondents did not know or were not willing to respond.

Now those who believe that Pakistan will be the next superpower, they are, realistically speaking, wishful thinkers. As for China becoming the next global superpower, that is quite possible. China is connecting with the world through its Belt and Road initiative. Through its progressing economy and development, it is expected that China will become the next global superpower.
