OneDrive Gets Integrated Function For Image Editing

Online storage like OneDrive is used by many, if not most, to store pictures. Because of course, you want to have a backup of your memories. Microsoft knows that too and has now given OneDrive image editing functions.

According to the Redmond company, the ability to edit photos directly in OneDrive was one of the features most requested by users. For this reason, a post on Tech Community has now presented the expanded option of being able to edit recordings stored there.

Of course, you shouldn’t expect Photoshop here, it offers some basic functionalities, including cropping photos, adjusting light and color, adding creative filters, and marking photos for editing. According to Microsoft, this is particularly useful if you want to “quickly insert images into presentations, share them on social media or use them in meetings to deepen discussions about product development or marketing”.

Users Can Apply Filters, Crop, rotate and improve image

The simplest, but probably also the most important, functionality is cropping photos. Here you can either manually select the format, but you can also choose from a number of preset aspect ratios, the latter is particularly useful if you want to share the recordings on social media.

There is also a feature for rotating and mirroring recordings, which is also largely self-explanatory. For light and colors, brightness, exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, and color saturation can be modified, which also corresponds to the features that can be found on an average smartphone app.

Finally, there are also a number of filters and the option of adding text-markings to the images. The latter function has already been introduced, but will not actually be released until the end of December.
