OnePlus 12 will be more expensive than the OnePlus 11

OnePlus 10 Pro

According to some recent information spilled by a tipster, the upcoming OnePlus 12 will be more expensive than the OnePlus 11. This information comes from Yogesh Brar. According to him, the upcoming OnePlus 12 will feature a BOE panel. It is the same panel that can be found on the OPPO Find X6 Pro. This display panel has been proven to be a success for OPPO, so OnePlus will opt for it now.

According to the tipster, the panels provided by Samsung and Tianma presented several issues that could be resolved with BOE panels. Notably, the panels supplied by BOE don’t have any green line issues. Furthermore, some previous reports claim that the OnePlus 12 will feature a big battery and some improved camera features. Such factors might contribute to a high price tag.

According to the previous leaks, the smartphone will include a 6.82-inch QHD+ LTPO AMOLED display from BOW featuring 2,160Hz PWM dimming. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The Chinese variant will include 24GB of RAM, whereas the global variant will offer 16GB of RAM. It might include 1TB of storage. The OnePlus 12 will come in three color options, including black, white, and green.

Concerning the camera setup, the smartphone is rumored to include a 50MP main camera with OIS support. The smartphone will feature Sony’s IMX966 sensor with a 23mm lens. Besides this, it will also feature a 48MP ultrawide and a 64MP periscope telephoto camera. The OnePlus 12 will debut by the end of this year, i.e., in December or early January in China. The device might make its international debut by the first quarter of 2024.
