OnePlus just had its OnePlus Summer launch event. The company revealed various devices and updates. The company also released the much-awaited Nord CE 5G and a new OnePlus smart TV. And now we are hearing news about this new Nord 2 smartphone.
According to a news release by GSMArena, OnePlus is working on a new device called the Nord 2. This device is said to feature a 6.43-inch FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED touchscreen with an in-display fingerprint sensor, a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset, and a 4,500 mAh battery. We also heard that this device would have at least 30W fast charging, or it could be 65W.
We also heard that this device could have a camera setup resembling that on the OnePlus 9 Pro. Although, an LED replaces the lower-right lens.
The rear would have a main sensor of 50 MP Sony IMX766, an ultrawide 8 MP module, and a 2 MP shooter for decoration purposes (macro or depth, whichever). One the front, we expect a 32 MP sensor.
The OnePlus Nord2 could feature in two storage configurations – 8GB RAM + 128GB storage AND 12GB RAM + 256GB storage.
The expected release will happen on July 9. That is all for now. We hope to get more about this device soon in the coming few days. Till then, keep coming back and enjoy our tech news from around the globe.
