Oppo announces Reno flagship with new popup camera and 10x optical zoom

Since the last flagship Oppo Find X which was launched last year, Oppo has now announced another flagship with high-end specifications.

Oppo’s sub-brand Reno has been announced with Snapdragon 855 SoC, 48-megapixels camera along with 10X optical zoom. Oppo has also ditched the front screen notch in this device. According to the previous leaks, Reno had to come with weird pop up selfie camera which pops up like a card in the deck which appears in a wedge shape, and the screen is notchless.

We now have the confirmation that the front camera is housed in a wedged shape pop-up with LED flash, however, there is no 3D face ID unlocking in the phone. The fingerprint scanner resides in-display.

The Reno comes in four different colors including blue, black, pink and purple.
