Oppo Find X2 To Come With 48MP Sony Exclusive Custom Sensor
Oppo is just following its legacy with the new Oppo Find X2 device, Oppo’s previous Find X was a hit due to its sleek design, beautiful looks and of course great camera sensor.
Oppo is expected to unveil the device at the Mobile World Congress MWC 2020 in February, however, the company’s vice president Shen Yiren has started teasing the device already on Weibo. He said the device is coming with Sony’s Exclusive Custom Camera Sensor.
Sony will provide the exclusive custom sensor for the device which is the world’s first all-pixel omnidirectional focusing technology. Sony’s exclusive deal with Oppo could make the successor another hit in the market because of its photographic features.
The sensor comes in 48MP and the CIS size may reach 1/1.33 inches. This tells us that the area contained by a single pixel gets quite big and it would also enhance the capabilities of night shooting and take it to the next level.

It is important to mention that Find X2 can also switch to a 120Hz refresh rate at 2K+ resolution. Shen Yiren said it would be one of the top devices displayed at MWC 2020. Under the hood, the Oppo Find X2 offers Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. The phone supports Standalone (SA) and Non-Standalone NSA dual-mode 5G connectivity along with Super VOOC 65W charging.
