OPPO Released the New OPPO Reno 6, Reno 6 Pro, and Reno 6 Pro+ in China

As stated earlier, OPPO released three new devices today in the Reno series – the Reno 6, Reno 6 Pro and Reno 6 Pro+. The two Pro models brings some identical specs other than the chipsets. The Pro comes with the Dimenisty 1200 SoC while the Pro+ with the Snapdragon 870.

The base variant comes with the recently announced Dimenisty 900. All three devices have a triple-camera setup and 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 charging.

OPPO Reno6

Oppo Reno 6 comes with a flat 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. There’s a 64MP main shooter at the back paired with an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. The selfie shooter is a 32MP camera.

The battery capacity is 4,300 mAh and comes with speedy 65W charging. The device has ColorOS 11.3 on top of Android 11.

This device will retail for CNY 2,799 ($440) for the 8/128GB trim while the 12/256GB model will sell for CNY 3,199 ($500). Sales for this smartphone in China are scheduled for June 11.

OPPO Reno6 Pro and Reno6 Pro+

The Reno6 Pro and Pro+ are almost identical. However, they vary in their camera setups. In the Pro+ model, you will get Sony’s 50MP IMX 766 as the primary shooter paired with a 16MP ultrawide snapper and a 13MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and a 2MP depth sensor to round things off.

The Reno6 Pro has a 64MP primary shooter, supported by an 8MP ultrawide snapper and two 2MP modules for macro shots and depth data.

Under the hood, we have the Dimensity 1200 chipset in the Pro model, while Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 powers the Pro+ variant.

The rest of the specs are similar: 6.55-inch AMOLED screens supported by a 90Hz refresh rate, batteries of 4,500mAh with charging support of up to 65W, and runs Android 11 topped with Oppo’s ColorOS 11.3.

Reno 6 Pro will go for CNY 3,499 ($549) for the 8/128GB trim while the 12/256GB model will sell for CNY 3,799 ($595). The Pro+ starts at CNY 3,999 ($627) for the 8/128GB model and CNY 4,499 ($705) for the 12/256GB trim. According to the source, the first sales for these two devices are scheduled for June 5.
