The newly tested Oppo smartphone Reno5 F is now available in Kenya and will soon start shipping across the globe.
The Reno5 F will be available in two colors – Fluid Black and Fantastic Purple – as the company calls them. It will have a 6.43-inch 1080×2400 60Hz flat AMOLED screen with 135Hz touch sampling rate (and 180Hz touch sampling in Game mode) and 800 nits of peak brightness and an under-display fingerprint sensor.
At the back of the smartphone, there are four cameras, the main unit featuring 48 MP f/1.7, one with a fixed-focus ultrawide, f/2.2 aperture, and 119-degree field-of-view, another with an f/2.4 macro camera, and fourth one with an f/2.4 “mono camera” for a portrait shot enhancement. The front camera is a 32 MP unit with an f/2.4 aperture.
The phone is equipped with MediaTek’s Helio P95 chipset under the hood, with a 2.2 GHz octa-core CPU. The Oppo Reno5 F is said to come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The battery is powered with 4,310 mAh with 30W VOOC Charge support.
The smartphone will run on Android 11 with ColorOS 11 and has dimensions of 160.1 x 73.2 x 7.8 mm, weighing 172g.
The phone is available in Kenya for KES 31,499, nearly $287 or €241. The smartphone is expected to reach more markets soon.
