Samsung will not release any Samsung Note Series for the rest of the year

Samsung CEO Dong-jin Ko says there would be no Samsung Note Series device rolling out this year. Note fans may have to wait until 2022.

The air was already warm, that the company may discontinue the Note series. It was also speculated that the Galaxy S21 series might come with the S Pen support. And today, it’s confirmed that the company is not rolling any Note series this year.

According to a source, the company will not launch a new smartphone in the Galaxy Note series in the second half of 2021. Though, it doesn’t mean that Samsung Electronics is discontinuing the Note series. It simply means that the series would come in the next year, with no release schedules.

Furthermore, Samsung CEO Dong-jin Ko, head of the information technology and mobile communications (IM) division of Samsung Electronics at the company’s 52nd shareholders’ meeting informed that the S Pen was sent out with the Galaxy S21 Ultra and that it’s difficult for the company to roll out the Note series in the second half of the year.

In a statement, Samsung CEO Dong-jin Ko said:

The disparity between the supply of parts and demand on the information technology (IT) side is severe.

We are checking the parts supply problem every morning. It is difficult to say that it is 100% resolved. It is a bit of a problem in the second quarter. We will report as a result so that there is no business disruption.
