Oppo Reno7 SE to Use a Qualcomm SoC Instead of MediaTek

Oppo is working on the Reno7 series. The lineup will have three models – the Reno7, Reno7 Pro, and Reno7 SE. There won’t be a Reno7 Pro Plus, as we heard.

The Reno 7 lineup is likely to come by the end of the year in China. The rest of the world might receive it later that year or perhaps at the beginning of 2022.

One report suggested that the Reno7 is likely to remember the Realme GT Master Edition. That isn’t strange. Smartphones do it all the time.

As always, we come today we some leaks (some new and some old ones). Oppo Reno7 SE is the base model of the series. We expect to get the SE model with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chip; previously we heard this model would come with the MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC. There will be a 4,300 mAh battery with support for 60 W fast-charging.

The Reno7 SE will feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate. The same device will also come with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of Internal Storage.

Camera-wise, we can expect Oppo Reno7 SE to feature a triple rear camera with a 64 MP camera, an 8 MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2 MP macro camera. There could be a 32 MP front snapper resting in the front punch-hole.
