Pixel 11: Mega leak shows images and data from the new Google smartphones

Amazon made a big mistake and revealed the entire lineup of the Google Pixel 11 series in advance. In a series of pre-published product listings, the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold are shown in advance – including technical details.

Amazon unveils all new Google devices in advance

Some smartphone launches are “spoilered” in advance by retailers. In the case of the Google Pixel 11 and its more expensive sister models, Amazon’s US branch made a major mistake and revealed all of the devices in advance. The leak delivers loudly 9to5Google not only a series of official images, but also technical details about the devices.

The basic model of the Google Pixel 11 will have a 6.3-inch display that offers 2856 x 1280 pixels and a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hertz. The Pixel 11 Pro has the same panel of the same size. The Pixel 11 Pro XL, on the other hand, uses a 6.8-inch OLED panel that works with 2992 x 1344 pixels and also up to 120 Hertz.

Google is also ‘saving’ on RAM

Under the hood, all models of course have the new Google Tensor G6, whose clock speed is specified by Amazon as 3.1 gigahertz. All models will be equipped with 12 gigabytes of RAM in their basic versions, while at least in the Pro versions only the versions with 512 GB or a terabyte of internal flash memory will have a full 16 GB of RAM.

Google is changing its strategy when it comes to RAM equipment, because most recently all models always had 16 GB of RAM, regardless of how much internal flash memory they offered. The company is obviously reacting to the storage crisis and is trying to at least partially slow down the already rising prices.

Battery capacities only increase slightly

The Amazon listings also confirm that all new Pixel 11 models come with a 13-megapixel front camera. The leak also gives details about the batteries: the Pixel 11 offers a larger power storage at 4985 mAh, while the Pixel 11 Pro has slightly less battery capacity at 4850 mAh. The large Pixel 11 Pro XL, on the other hand, has a 5115 mAh battery.

Amazon also provides various details about the Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold. The new foldable smartphone has a 6.5-inch additional display with a resolution of 2342 x 1080 pixels and a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hertz. The main memory in this model is always 16 gigabytes, while the flash memory offers capacities of 256 or 512 GB or one terabyte.

According to the leak, the battery of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold will be relatively small at 4750 mAh compared to many other foldables. There is also a 13 megapixel front camera here. All models work via 5G, Bluetooth 6.0 and Wi-Fi 6E. Amazon also lists the US prices for the Pixel 11 series, confirming that prices are rising slightly across the board, as we reported last week.

As far as colors are concerned, the leak shows that Google is relying more on staid pastel tones this year that complement the classic “obsidian” gray. The imaginative names basically hide different variations of green, red/pink/purple and violet or blue. The new Pixel 11 series smartphones will be presented in almost exactly a month, as Google has scheduled a corresponding event for August 14th.
