The PlayStation 5 is getting closer. The rumor mill to the console is boiling wildly and is now mainly about an event that was supposed to be held on June 4th initially. On this, Sony apparently wanted to focus primarily on the games that will appear for the PlayStation 5 at the same time or in the future. But the event was later postponed.
The reason for this is understandable. As Sony announced in a Twitter post, the PS5 event has been pushed back to make more recent issues heard. The company is referring to the protests in the USA. Now Sony has announced an alternative date for the PS5 unveiling, which will hopefully be final. The new PlayStation 5 event is scheduled for June 11, 2020, at around 9 p.m. GMT or 1:00 p.m. PDT.
Sony broke the silence a little earlier and fed the official PS5 website with more information. So far, inquisitive players have been able to log in to get first-hand information about the console. So far, that’s all there was to find. The following key points can now be found on the PS5 website, which gives more insight into the ideas and goals behind the next-gen console:
Lightning-fast action
Thrilling games
Breathtaking game worlds
