Poco F3 Will Be Rebranded As Redmi K40 For Global Market

Redmi has launched its Redmi K40 series in China last week, as being Xiaomi’s sub-brand the internal collaboration is always there. Xiaomi has decided to rebrand the Poco F3 model in China as Redmi K40 in international markets.

The phone has been already certified by the US FCC, and now we can see a clear picture of what’s coming. According to the details provided by a famous tipster on Twitter, the Poco F3 will be disguised as Redmi K40 for global markets. Another possibility arises here hat there will also be a pro model along with this, which would be either a rebranded Redmi K40 Pro or K40 Pro+, but we do not have any confirmation of this as yet.

Now getting back to what’s inside the device the Poco F3 or now you can say the Redmi K40, is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 chipset with 5G, and it has between 6GB and 12GB of RAM, as well as 128GB/256GB of internal storage, the storage is non-expandable as well. At the back of the device, there’s a triple camera setup with a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 5MP macro sensor, while for selfies you get a 20MP front shooter. The phone has a 4,520mAh battery with 33W fast charging which according to the company charges the device from 0% to 100% in just under an hour.

The screen is a 6.67-inch 1080×2400 120Hz Super AMOLED covered with Gorilla Glass 5, and the K40 runs Android 11 with MIUI 12 on top. Depending on exactly when it launches internationally, the Poco F3 may have MIUI 12.5 preinstalled.
