Poco Website Officially Discontinued as Sales Move to Mi.com Platform

Starting in 2025, Poco has officially shut down its dedicated po.co website, transitioning all sales exclusively to Xiaomi’s platform. This strategic move aims to streamline Xiaomi’s digital ecosystem and boost accessibility for Poco products. Poco initially announced these changes back in October 2024, and the shift is now fully implemented.

The first devices to be sold under this new arrangement will be the Poco X7 and Poco X7 Pro, scheduled to launch on January 9 via Xiaomi’s website. The closure affects not only the global po.co website but also regional Poco sites across Europe, such as those in the UK, France, and Germany. These sites are now being redirected to their respective Xiaomi Stores for product information and purchases.

Additionally, the Poco Store app has ceased operations. Users still have access to download their personal data through Xiaomi account settings, following data protection regulations.

When it comes to warranties, Poco has clarified that Xiaomi will handle all claims moving forward. While Poco has marketed itself as an independent brand, it has always operated under Xiaomi’s umbrella, primarily serving as a strategic sub-brand to expand Xiaomi’s presence in various markets through both offline and online channels.

Poco India appears to have been left static for now, still reflecting updates prior to the December releases of the Poco C75 and Poco M7 Pro 5G. No announcements have been made regarding future restructuring efforts in the Indian market.

This consolidation marks a turning point for Poco, merging its identity more closely with Xiaomi. Fans of the brand can look forward to the same quality and innovation, just under a unified platform for improved efficiency and service.
