Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: The trailer reveals many new features

Nintendo has released a new trailer for the two games Pokmon Scarlet and Pokmon Violet, which will be available for the Nintendo Switch in the fall. The video welcomes us to the Paldea region, the setting for the new adventures, and reveals new details about various gameplay features. The trailer was first released Wednesday afternoon as part of the Pokemon presents video presentation to see. It presented several new features from the world of Pokémon, but the highlight was a look at Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, the two new main games in the series.

Legendary Pokémon with New Shapes

It is now certain that the two legendary Pokemon Miraidon and Koraidon will actually become a kind of universal means of transport for the players, transporting them on horseback, as well as sliding and swimming through the different areas of Paldea.

Even steep cliffs don’t seem to be a problem for the two companions. Another important innovation can also be seen in the video: the so-called tera-crystallization not only makes Pokémon shine beautifully but also makes them temporarily stronger in battle – so it should be worth taking a closer look at the unusual phenomenon.

Treasure Hunts, Tera Raids, and more

As a newcomer to a Pokémon Academy, players will make many new friends during their adventure, including taking part in a treasure hunt. Of course, there are many familiar and new Pokemon to discover and a number of different arenas just waiting to be mastered.

The Tera Raids are new. In these limited-time events, up to four Trainers can team up to defeat a wild Teracrystallized Pokémon. If successful, valuable items beckon. Pokémon Scarlet & Violet are coming to Switch on November 18, 2022. Early buyers will receive a very special gift from Pikachu who can learn the move Fly and whose Tera type is Flight.
