Qualcomm partners with Samsung ahead of Snapdragon Pro Series gaming league

The biggest multi-title mobile e-sports leagues bring the partnership of Samsung and Qualcomm to another level. As per Qualcomm, Samsung is going to be the authorized smartphone partner company of the biggest multi-title mobile e-sports leagues, the Snapdragon Pro Series. At the Snapdragon Summit 2022 in Hawaii, Qualcomm announce that Samsung will be its presenting partner for the Snapdragon Pro Series scheduled for 2023.

This advancement marks another milestone in the partnership between the two companies. Due to this collaboration, the competitors in the Snapdragon Pro Series will utilize the Samsung Galaxy smartphones for contests through Snapdragon Masters in 2024. In addition to this, Snapdragon Pro Series will showcase Samsung branding across various regions, ranging from Nidia, Europe, North America, the Middle East, and North Africa, to Asia-Pacific.

In accordance with the official announcement, the competitors in the Snapdragon Pro Series will particularly use the Samsung flagship Galaxy devices based on Snapdragon chips. It will take start from the Snapdragon Pro Series Mobile Challenge Finals at DreamHack Valencia. The e-sport event feature contests in well-known games like:

  • Garena Free Fire
  • Asphalt 9 Legends
  • Wild Rift
  • Brawl Stars
  • PUBG Mobile
  • Clash of Clans

The Executive VP and Head of Global Marketing, Stephanie Choi, mentioned that Qualcomm is devoted to introducing high-performance Samsung Galaxy devices fueled by Snapdragon. Such devices will be specifically targeted at gamers around the globe to encourage competition as well as comradeship.

As of now, we have no official word regarding which Samsung Galaxy devices will be utilized during the event. Well, we can expect the Galaxy S22 Ultra and the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra to make it among the devices used during the competition. Since both devices hold the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. This processor has a high refresh rate. Thus, making them one of the best devices for gaming.

The e-sports event not only portrays the efforts of two companies in advancing mobile technology in the e-sports world but also features the gaming powers and capacities of Galaxy devices.
