Razer Gaming Smartphone Launched

Razer a gaming company has launched its own smartphone. The focus of the phone is on gaming as expected. In January Razer acquired Nextbit and now it has announced its first smartphone. The name of the phone is Razer phone.

Its features are 5.7″ QHD (2K) IGZO LCD display, 8GB RAM, wide color gamut and 120Hz refresh rate. It has almost double the refresh rate compared to other flagship devices. iPad Pro’s display has the 120Hz refresh rate and as per Apple it’s “The most advanced display on the planet”.

Razer cooperates with Qualcomm to develop UltraMotion technology for its display. It is an adaptive refresh technology that synchronizes GPU and display. It ensures there is zero tearing or lag even at high frame rates. The display of the phone will not affects its battery life as ensured by Razer Company.

The phone has 8GB RAM which is not at all common these days. The focus of the phone is in gaming, so it is ensured that even if users play the high-end game the phone runs efficiently. Phone is powered by the most powerful chipset in market Snapdragon 835 chipset

Other features of the phone are Dual 12 MP + 13 MP camera, f/1.75 & f/2.6 aperture lens, 8 MP autofocus front camera, 64GB internal storage, Micro SD card up to 256GB, USB-C port and USB C to 3.5mm converter as well.

The battery of the phone is worth mentioning. 4,000 mAh battery with Quickcharge 4+ support which will ensure that in an hour the phone will be charged from 0% to 85%. As per Razer users can watch movies for 12.5 hours, listen to music for 63.5 hours and play Hearthstone for 7 hours with just a single charge.

The price of Razer phone is $699. For purchase, it will be available on November 17th, 2017.
