A few years ago Realme unveiled the TechLife ecosystem. The company introduced several AIoT devices under the umbrella of the TechLife ecosystem. It included various smart home products such as an air purifier and vacuum cleaner. Besides this, Dizo was introduced by Realme as the first sub-brand in the TechLife ecosystem. Some recent pieces of information suggest that the company is going to change its strategy. Since the company has declared that it won’t introduce any AIoT products under the TechLife ecosystem anymore. Instead, the company indicates that it “will now be your go-to page for all things Realme Narzo.”
Furthermore, the company has requested the user base of AIoT fans to follow @realmeIndia on Twitter. It suggests that from now onwards the company will introduce the AIoT products under the Realme branding. Well, this announcement might sound good to several users however, some are left in doubt regarding the fate of Dizo. Dizo’s portfolio is mainly based on wireless earphones and smartwatches. Besides this, several handsets have also been introduced under this sub-brand, but these handsets are not smartphones. In addition to this, the company has introduced a few beard trimmers and a hairdryer.
One important thing to notice here is that it was speculated that Dizo will be accompanied by several other brands as a part of the TechLife ecosystem. However, since that TechLife is now solely focused on the Narzo portfolio, which consists solely of smartphones, it is unclear whether Dizo will continue to be a part of the TechLife ecosystem or turn into a legitimate Realme sub-brand.
At the time this article was written, Dizo’s official website still lists “Smart Entertainment,” “Smart Home,” “Smart Care,” and “Accessories” as its product categories and claims that Dizo depends on Realme’s supply chain, AIoT expertise, industrial design, and after-sales service to run the business. Speaking of Narzo, Realme has begun to tease a new Narzo smartphone in India but hasn’t yet revealed its specifications. But, as the launch date approaches, you may anticipate the brand to provide additional information.
