Redmi K30 5G to Launch January 7

Earlier we reported that Redmi is all set to launch the new Redmi K30 4G and Redmi K30 5G devices that are budget devices costing 1599 and 1999 Yuan.

However, the launch date of the devices wasn’t confirmed at that time, today the company has made the launch date public which is January 7. The company is ready to launch two devices this time including Redmi K30 which is a 4G phone and costs only 1599 Yuan $230 for the base model, along with Redmi K30 5G which is a premium device costing 1999 Yuan $285 for the base model.

Xiaomi’s subsidiary Redmi has announced that it will start preorders from January 7 for these two devices. We have already covered all most all the core specifications of Redmi K30 5G, repeating it again;

Redmi K30 5G comes with 6.67-inch IPS LCD display and Qualcomm Snapdragon SMD 765G Octa-core SoC. The base model features 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model will cost 2899 Yuan $410.

At the rear, you will find a quad-camera setup with offers 64MP+8MP+5MP+2MP combination including ultrawide and telephoto lenses. Also, the device offers a side-mounted fingerprint sensor along with a huge battery capacity of 4500mAh which supports fast 30W charging. It is also important to mention that the company has integrated IMX686 camera sensor provided by Sony, the manufacturer is focused on providing high-specs device at a lower cost in order to gain the cost leadership in the market.
