Redmi K40 Series Poster Exposed

Yesterday, Lu Weibing, vice president of Xiaomi Group, president of China region, and general manager of Redmi brand of Xiaomi has leaked the new Redmi K40 series through Weibo in advance, saying that it will be released next month, and the price will start at 2,999 yuan or $462. It is very unusual to directly announce the price and snipe the opponent.

It seems that Lu Weibing still hopes to build the Redmi K40 series as a flagship with better performance. On the evening of January 11, Lu Weibing posted a comment on Weibo: Well, it was sloppy. Do you want to increase the price? This seems to be meaningful.

The Redmi K40 series will be the flagship of the Snapdragon 888 launched by Redmi, with a battery of 4000mAh or more, and maybe the “most expensive straight screen” mobile phone. The latest flagship chip of Qualcomm, Snapdragon 888 uses 1 x 2.84GHz (Cortex X1)+3 x 2.4GHz (Cortex A78)+4 x 1.8GHz (Cortex A55), Adreno 660 GPU, and X60 5G modem baseband.
