Redmi Note 9 Pro Max Will Hit The Shelves In India On May 12

Back in March in India Redmi announced Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max. Note 9 Pro went on sale in the country on March 17 but the Max variant’s sales were postponed because of the COVID-19 lockdown. The Chinese phone maker, however, has now announced that Note 9 Pro Max will be available for purchase in India from May 12 through Mi.com onwards.

This Redmi announcement comes days after the Indian government has eased the country’s lockdown restrictions and allowed e-commerce firms to deliver non-essential goods in areas marked as orange and green zones.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max comes in three memory versions-INR16,499 priced 6GB/64 GB ($220/€200), INR17,999 priced 6GB/128 GB ($240/€220), and INR19,999 costing 8GB/128 GB ($265/€240). Note that the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max was launched at a lower price, but it became more expensive due to last month’s hike in Goods & Services Tax (GST).
