Report: There won’t be a Pro model for the Oppo Find X7 series

Oppo is expected to unveil the Oppo Find X7 series soon. There have been several leaks and rumors regarding the upcoming smartphones. Previously, rumors indicated that the Find X7 series will have three members, including the Vanilla Find X7, a Find X7 Pro, and a Find X7 Ultra. However, a new leak indicates that the series won’t have a Pro model.

The information comes from Digital Chat Station. Do note that the original post covering this information has been deleted now. According to the tipster, the Oppo Find X7 series will comprise Find X7, Find X7 Ultra, and Find X7 Ultra Satellite Communication models instead. The moniker may have given it away, but the satellite communication capability is the only thing that will set the two Ultra models apart. This is in line with Oppo’s confirmation of the feature in the Find X7 series.

In addition to this, the leak claims that all members of the series will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 100W charging support. However, 50W wireless charging will also be available on the Ultra models. In the past, there have been several reports that indicate that the Por and Ultra models will have similar features. For instance, both models will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Furthermore, they will feature a quad-core camera setup that will include 50MP sensors for the primary, ultrawide, and two telephoto lenses. Thus, it appears that Oppo may have chosen to introduce the series with just two smartphones.

Besides this, the tipster has shared some insights about the display of the Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra. According to him, a 6.78-inch BOE 8T LTPO display with a 1.5K resolution will be included in the Find X7, whereas the Find X7 Ultra will feature a slightly larger 6.82-inch BOE 8T LTPO screen with a 2K resolution. It is expected that the series will launch early next year; however, there is no official confirmation yet.
