ROG Zephyrus G14 2023 gaming notebook in a Quick Review

Asus equips the ROG Zephyrus G14 with new hardware for demanding gamers. The 2023 edition of the notebook offers the best equipment, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 laptop graphics card, and a mini LED display with 165 Hz. Visually, it is still based on the predecessor and retains its eye-catching display in the lid.

A Youtuber explains in the video, the ROG Zephyrus G14 is available with either an IPS or mini-LED display. In both cases, the resolution is 2560 x 1600 pixels, Asus specifies the refresh rate as 165 Hertz and the response time as 3 ms. G-Sync is also supported.

The AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS is used, which has a maximum clock of 5.2 GHz. You can choose between an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 and RTX 4090 for the GPU. There is also up to 32 GB of DDR5 RAM and 1 TB of SSD storage. Another highlight of the ROG Zephyrus G14 is the so-called AniMe display in the lid: This can display images and animations to give the notebook an individual look.
