Rumors suggest that stable Android 14 will not be released until October

According to some recent pieces of information, the stable release of Android 14 has been postponed until early October. Previously, it was anticipated that Google might unveil it on September 5. Well, there appears to be a solid reason behind this decision. The company might be planning something else for the software update.

According to Mishaal Rahman, the tech giant has a new release schedule for the software. Rahman notes on Telegram that the Android 14 stable release has been scheduled for October. Additionally, it appears that manufacturers have been informed that the Android 14 security release notes’ flaws will be made public explicitly on October 4. It suggests that it might be the rescheduled date for the stable release of the software. Well, the above-mentioned information is based on a rumor, and nothing is official from Google yet. So, there is a possibility that the stable release of Android 14 might arrive either this week or next month.

The stable release of Android 14 has been postponed until the Pixel 8 release

Well, if we consider the rumor to be correct, then Google seems to be releasing Android 14 on the same day as the Pixel 8 series. Previously, it was officially confirmed that Google would debut the Pixel 8 series on October 4. Going by the rumor that suggests that the company will publish security release notes on vulnerabilities on October 4, there is quite a possibility for this.

This is not bad at all. It is strange that the new software and a flagship phone don’t arrive on the same day. According to Mishaal Rahman, Google initially planned to unveil the Android 14 stable version on September 5. Therefore, the change in public availability on the day of the Pixel event may simply be the outcome of the delay. and perhaps not the main cause. Whatever the case may be, it is evident that users won’t have access to Android 14 right now.
