Samsung adds a new rugged wristband option for Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5

The South Korean tech company is now working on the accessory ecosystem for its various products. Notably, the tech company is introducing useful accessories for various smartphones, tablets, as well as wearables. Just a few days ago, the South Korean conglomerate introduced camera accessories for its latest flagship i.e., Galaxy S23 series. As of now, the company has come forward with a new wristband option for the Galaxy smartwatches. The new wrist strap has been introduced for the Galaxy Watch 4 and the Galaxy Watch 5.

The folks at 9to5Google identified that the new wristband is priced at $49.99 in the US. The new Rugged Sport Band is specifically introduced for the Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, Galaxy Watch 5, and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. The wristband is made from fluoroelastomer material. For this reason, it has the capacity for water resistance. According to Samsung, the band is thick and adds texture to strengthen it for “long-lasting endurance.”

The interior of the Rugged Sport Band is different in texture. It has a smooth and soft finish on the inside. The band is presented in two different color options i.e., Black and Grey.
