Samsung and Google working together to bring a new smartwatch platform

Samsung is bringing a new smartwatch with a merger of WearOS and Tizen. This smartwatch might premiere in the upcoming MWC 2021 at Samsung’s virtual presentation. The event will primarily focus on the Galaxy ecosystem, watch experience, and mobile security, while the event could be seen on June 28th from 1:15 – 2 pm ET.

The upcoming MWC event would be “reimagining smartwatches, creating new opportunities for both developers and consumers.”

To tell you, Google and Samsung will merge their WearOS and Tizen-based smartwatch platforms into a single operating system. This news leaked in the recent Google I/O. This smartwatch operating system is going to be big for the two companies.

The collaboration could solve both companies’ problems. The new operating system could be named Wear.
