Samsung Could Introduce Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) In Every Galaxy A Model

This year, Samsung introduced optical image stabilization (OIS) on the main cameras of the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72. The company is expected to do the same for next year’s line of Galaxy A devices.

Although the company has not confirmed this, we heard it from a tipster. The tipster also said that only a few of the flagship models will get this feature.

The new feature would give an edge to Samsung over Xiaomi – Xiaomi’s devices are usually cheaper than Samsung’s devices. But with this new feature, the Korean mobile manufacturer would gain popularity over the Chinese mobile phone makers.

According to one source, a smartphone with an OIS is nearly 15% more expensive than the one without an OIS. So it raises the question that why would people buy a smartphone with an OIS which further increases a smartphone’s price. It is also a question to consider that very few of us know about this OIS technology.
