Samsung is all set for the release of its forthcoming devices. The most-awaited Samsung Galaxy S23 is anticipated to make its appearance in February 2023. Most expectedly the announcement will be made on February 1.
Besides this news, we have something very exciting for our readers. Possibly Samsung is experimenting with the latest version of One UI for its upcoming high-end smartphones. This testing is taking place just before the official launch of the latest smartphones. The tech giant Samsung is testing One UI 5.1 for the Galaxy S22 series.
Some reports indicate that Samsung is testing the One UI 5.1 update for the firmware version S90xEXXU2CVL7 of the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra. The latest test firmware was identified on the servers of Samsung. It could possibly make its way to Galaxy S22 users a few days after the official launch of the S23 series. It would be right in alignment with the Samsung’s strategy i.e., initially introducing the One UI 5.1 on Galaxy S23 series and then on Galaxy S22 series.
As of now, it is unclear what features will One UI 5.1 hold. However, if we go by some hints by the company made a few months ago, we can expect some customized lock screen options. We can expect improvements like partial screen mirroring, predictive back gestures, improvements in the taskbar, and the appearance of the media player widget in the notifications area.
One thing to notice here is that Samsung was quite swift in rolling out of One UI 5.0 updates. We can expect a somewhat similar strategy for One UI 5.1 for the current smartphones. Well, till then wait patiently for what is in the pipeline.
