Samsung Exynos 2200 Likely To Debut Next Month

Samsung Exynos 2200

Samsung Exynos 2200 had been in rumors for so long, the report regarding delayed production of Exynos 2200 is also in the books, however, Android Police reported today that the device is likely to enter mass productions soon and presumably launches with Galaxy S22 flagship device.

The latest rumor claims that Samsung has postponed the release of its new Exynos 2200 mobile processor, which will debut AMD RDNA2 GPU technology on mobile devices. The launch of the new chip was expected to happen in January, but the company has since tried to reassure industry watchers that it won’t have any issues with its performance. Regardless, the Exynos 2200 isn’t expected to be released until January 11, so expect a lot of speculation.

The Exynos 2200 is a quad-core, 4nm chip with an AMD RDNA2 GPU. It could have up to three ARM Cortex-A710 CPU cores and a Cortex-X2 core. It will also support ray tracing and HDR gaming and should be available in early 2019. The new processor is expected to launch with the Galaxy S22 series and is expected to be available in the first half of 2016.

The Exynos 2200 also features more advanced AI than its predecessor. The new processor’s NPU has doubled its performance, which means it can perform more simultaneous calculations. This increases the efficiency of AI and boosts the overall performance of the device. The Exynos has higher-precision FP16 (16bit floating-point) and INT8 (8bit integer) cores. Furthermore, the new SoC supports up to eight-k resolution capture at 30 frames per second. It can also record a 4K video at 120 frame-rate.

The Exynos 2200 is the latest mobile processor from Samsung. It is capable of delivering 8K video at 60 frames per second and has a 200-megapixel imaging sensor. This processor is manufactured in the latest 4nm EUV process. The Xclipse 920 GPU is designed to deliver the best visual experience on mobile devices. The GPU has the ability to simulate light behavior so that developers can lower the shading rate in non-visible areas. Moreover, it can drive the 144Hz-refresh display.

The Exynos 2200 is one of the biggest processors ever made by Samsung. It will compete with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8-series SoC in the US, while the Snapdragon 8-series chipset is expected to be used in North America and China. It is also possible that the company will reserve the Exynos 2200 for its bigger form factor smartphones, but it’s unlikely to be the case.

The Exynos is a dual-core NPU that provides twice the performance of the Exynos 2100. It allows for faster AI processing and improved photography. The Exynos also supports a 200MP sensor and 64MP+32MP simultaneous image capture. It is also capable of playing 8K video at 30fps. Aside from that, the Exynos 2200 will play 4K videos at 240fps.
