Samsung Foldable Phones: Will Have S Pen And Two-way Folding Design

Samsung is expected to launch next month in the third quarter the foldable smartphone Galaxy Z Fold 2. Now, some sources claim that the South Korean tech giant is developing three foldable phones, namely Galaxy Z Fold Lite, Galaxy Z Fold3, and Galaxy Z Fold S, and even mentioned the type of display used by these devices.

There are rumors that Samsung will launch an economical foldable smartphone, tentatively named Galaxy Fold Lite. The model of the device may be SM-F415. The South Korean whistleblower with the username @hwangmh01 claimed on Twitter that the device will use CPI (colorless polyimide) instead of the UTG (ultra-thin glass) material of the Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold2 to cover the screen.

The leaker also said that in addition to retaining UTG glass, Galaxy Z Fold 3 will also support S Pen, but the price will be very expensive, which means it may become Samsung’s most expensive smartphone. Eventually, the report claims that Samsung is also developing another foldable phone called “Galaxy Z Fold S”, which has a “folding in and out” design. It is not clear what this means, it may be a three-fold folding design.
