Samsung Galaxy A72 is getting a new firmware with a newer security patch and some other significant improvements on the side. The firmware number is A725FXXU1AUD2 and comes with the April 2021 security patch.
The update comes with generic new and enhanced features and some improvements to performance. According to the source, this update weighs around 1GB.
The Galaxy A72 was originally launched with Android 11-based One UI 3.1 out of the box. Since the security patches aren’t usually larger than 200MB, but with this large size (1Gb), we expect some additional camera and / or performance improvements.
The new firmware update is now rolling out for the Galaxy A72 in several markets. Owners of the Galaxy A72 could manually check for the update by heading towards the Software update menu inside the Settings app on their phones.
