Samsung Galaxy Note 21 Excluded From The Unpacked August 11

On August 11th, Samsung will present itself with new smartphones at the next unpacked event. But the expected Galaxy Note 21 will not be seen here. The manufacturer’s former flagship is sitting on the bench in favor of foldable devices.

Instead of speaking of an unpacked event, this year’s autumn presentation by the South Korean company could easily be called an unfolded event. Because the foldable and foldable smartphones (e.g. Fold 3 and Flip 3) will most likely be the focus of attention in the next few weeks. At least that’s what a new blog post by Dr. TM Roh, who is President and Head of the Mobile Communications Business. In the same breath, he announces that they will forego a new Galaxy Note model.

Foldable Or Note Future Will Decide

Regarding a “new chapter in smartphone innovation”, Roh says, “We want to set new standards and open up a whole new world of exciting experiences for even more people. I hope you will join us in introducing our next Galaxy Z family and experience some foldable surprises – including the first S Pen, which was specially developed for foldable phones. Instead of introducing a new Galaxy Note this time, we will be expanding the popular Note functions to other Samsung Galaxy devices. “

It is unclear whether the Galaxy Note smartphones only have to temporarily warm the replacement bench or whether they will be pushed to a siding entirely. The success or failure of new foldable devices is likely to determine the future of the S-Pen models. However, the fact that its once distinctive advantages and functions are exploited and donated to the new Fold and Galaxy S series should not be a good sign for a comeback of the Note series. The Samsung Unpacked event on August 11th will definitely shed light on the darkness.
