Samsung is soon bringing the industry’s first 200MP camera sensor – the ISOCELL HP1. This camera will greatly improve low-light camera performance. Besides this, the company is also bringing the 50MP ISOCELL GN5. It will improve autofocusing. We expect one of them will land the next year’s Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Duckhyun Chang, executive vice president of sensor business at Samsung Electronics said:
Samsung has been pioneering ultrafine pixel technologies that are taking high-resolution image sensors to the next level,
With the ISOCELL HP1 that is breaking barriers and ISOCELL GN5 bringing ultrafast auto focus, Samsung will continue to lead the trend for next-generation mobile imaging technologies.”
There are rumors suggesting that the 50MP ISOCELL GN5 might land the Galaxy S22 and S22+.
