Samsung is prepping to release the Galaxy S22 series, having three models – the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra. As always, tipsters find their way to know and share inside information about the devices not yet officially released, so is the case with this upcoming series. However, today’s leak isn’t all about the series but the Ultra model.
Being the top-tiered device of the Galaxy S22 series, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is getting extra features such as support for S Pen, a more advanced camera, a bigger battery, and will also unique colorways. The previous colorways for this model included standard Black, White, and fancy Dark Red. Now we heard of the new Green colorway.
This latest tip came from the tipster GalaxyClub. The tipster didn’t mention the name of this colorway, but we believe it could be similar to the Phantom Green found on the Galaxy Z Fold3.
In other recent leaks, we also received renders of the Galaxy S22 Ultra with a dual waterdrop camera design. Samsung is likely to replace the P-shaped camera design with the waterdrop design, which is somewhat similar to the LG Velvet.
Other specifications of this device include a large display, a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging, and a Snapdragon 898 SoC or Exynos 2200. While we said Samsung is gearing up to release the device, the device isn’t coming this year. We expect the Galaxy S22 lineup to come in January 2022. That means we have plenty of time to explore the series and know about more features on the three devices.
