What to Expect at Galaxy Unpacked 2025

While Samsung is keeping details under wraps, leaks and teasers suggest several exciting announcements:

The Galaxy S25 Series

The spotlight will be on the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra, along with a rumored new model—the Galaxy S25 Slim, measuring just 6.4mm thick. While the Slim model may not launch until May, we expect all the phones to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset (or potentially a new Exynos chip internationally) and refined designs, including rounded corners for the Ultra model.

We’ll also likely hear pricing details, including potential increases for premium models like the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

One UI 7

Expect a full breakdown of One UI 7, Samsung’s latest software update. Already in beta for Galaxy S24 devices, One UI 7 brings iOS-like refinements and a more cohesive user experience. The Galaxy S25 series is expected to launch with this update, and it will roll out to devices as old as the Galaxy S21.

AI-Powered Bixby

Samsung is set to showcase a generative AI-powered Bixby that promises deeper integration and the ability to handle complex commands. While details are limited, the new Bixby is expected to rival tools like ChatGPT and Gemini.

New Galaxy Ring and XR Glasses

Two exciting new hardware pieces are expected:

  • Galaxy Ring 2: Rumored to feature more accurate sensors, improved AI, and additional size options.
  • XR Smart Glasses: A first look at Samsung’s extended reality (XR) glasses, rumored to launch later in 2025 but likely to debut at the event.

Get Ready for Preorders

Once the livestream ends, US preorders for the Galaxy S25 series are expected to go live, with early-bird deals likely available on the Samsung website.

Mark your calendars, tune in live, and don’t miss the chance to see Samsung’s biggest innovations of 2025 in action!
