Samsung Health Unveils a New Medication Monitoring Function

Samsung is releasing a new gadget that could be quite helpful if you struggle to remember to take your medications. Soon, users of the Samsung Health app will be able to keep track of their prescriptions and access useful information about them.

According to recent information, the South Korean firm Samsung is about to introduce a new and innovative feature that will help users keep track of their medications in the Samsung Health app. It is quite evident that the new feature will help users follow their prescriptions and medications. In order to avoid confusion and trouble, users can input details like time of consumption, dosage, and other relevant information in the Samsung Health app.

Once the feature is released, users will be able to program reminders for when to take their medication and when to get a prescription refill. These reminders can be adjusted from “gentle” to “strong,” depending on the level of urgency. For instance, if you set the reminder to gentle, it will display a straightforward pop-up that won’t bother you if you’re taking a supplement. On the other hand, the strong option will ensure that you don’t forget to take your medication by displaying a full-screen alert and a prolonged tone. You don’t always need to be close to your phone because these reminders can also be sent to the Galaxy Watch app.

In addition to this, the feature will inform users about general information as well as the potential side effects of the drug. The tool will educate users about the adverse effects of the drug if it is consumed with certain foods and substances. To help people distinguish between the tablets they are taking, users will be able to input the “shape and color of their medications.” Currently, there are no accurate details about the release of the new feature; however, the company asserts that the feature will be rolled out later this week. The feature will initially be rolled out to US users. Later on, it will debut in other regions.
