Samsung is Rolling Out October 2021 Software Update to Galaxy A51

Samsung is now rolling out the October 2021 software update to the Galaxy A51. The update is currently available in some Asian countries, others to see it soon.

Before rolling it out to the Galaxy A51, Samsung rolled it to the Galaxy A52 5G. That update was initiated from Europe and came along with the October 2021 security patch. It fixed more than 60 issues for the device and brought some improvement as well.

The current October 2021 software update is for the Galaxy A51. The update comes with firmware version A515FXXU5EUJ2 and brings the October 2021 security patch as well. Like the one rolled to the Galaxy A52, this one also promises to fix more than 60 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities along with general bug fixes and stability improvements.

The Asian countries receiving this update include India, Nepal, Russia, and Sri Lanka. Users in these countries can head to their device’s Settings, then Software Update, and finally Download and install to check for the update and download if available. Other regions will have to wait for a while to get this software update.

Samsung released the Galaxy A51 back in December 20219. The device came out with Android 10, upgradable to Android 11 (the device has already received this update a few months back). The device features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED, Exynos 9611 (10nm), quad-camera setup, and a 4000mAh battery with 15W fast charging.
