Samsung Has Launched Fast & Reliable New Portable SSD T5

Samsung Electronics has announced today the launch of Samsung Portable SSD T5. It is a new portable solid state drive (PSSD) that will take external memory products quality and performance to another level.

It is built via Samsung current 64-layer V-NAND technology and it will provide users with highest transfer speed along with encrypted data security in a compact and tough design. Therefore making it easy for individuals to access their most important data at any place they want and at any time.

This new SSD T5 is designed for all but specifically for content makers, business & IT experts along with mainstream consumers.  The speed it offers is exceptional, up to 540 MB/s which is 4.9 times more than external HDD products. The size of T5 is 74 x 57.3 x 10.5 millimeters and its weight is only 51 grams. So it is smaller and lighter than a normal business card.

There is a three-year warranty that T5 offers and it is globally available now with the initial retail price for 250GB model being $129.99.
