Samsung might delay releasing the Galaxy S21 FE

Samsung could be delaying the upcoming Galaxy S21 FE due to a shortage of components. According to rumors, the company has suspended production as it is short of chipsets. The company previously had already warned the market about this.

It is already a known fact that there is a shortage of semiconductors worldwide. This effect already had impacted the production of several Galaxy Note devices, for which the company said that it might release the Note series during the next year.

Due to the same reason, Samsung also announced a delay in delivering the Galaxy Tab S7 FE. The company also claimed that due to an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in Vietnam, the company had to delay its production since most of the production is conducted there.

Previously, we heard that Samsung could be releasing the Galaxy S21 FE in August this year along with the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, and new smartwatches.

However, the company is still ready to release the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3, and for this, the company has a limited stock of Snapdragon 888 chips, as claimed by a source.

According to Bloomberg, the company has not yet decided or shared their plan of action for this Galaxy S21 FE.

For now, nothing is for certain, i.e., if the company would bring this device this year or not. But we have heard that the Galaxy S21 FE would come with a 120Hz 6.4″ pinhole display, a 4,500mAh battery, a triple-camera setup on the back, and a 32MP camera on the front.
