Samsung Planning to Launch Galaxy M Series Smartphones in January
Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy M series smartphones in January. As per the IANS, an Indian news agency report Samsung is planning to launch three M series smartphones. In India the M series will be revealed in Janauary as repored by IANS.
The report quotes industry sources saying that the M series variants will have “industry-first” features that will distinguish them from other phones in the Indian market. The features are yet unknown but the strategy is the same as which was adopted by Samsung for its midrange affordable phones.

The models of the phones are not mentioned but they might be the ones previously called Samsung Galaxy M10, M20 and M30. As per the latest reports, they are called Galaxy M1, M2, and M3. Also there has been a buzz about Galaxy M50 smartphone but it might not be one of those launching in January.
Galaxy M30 or Galaxy M3 will be equipped with an Exynos 7885 SoC. It will have 4 GB of RAM with Android Oreo 8.1 operating system. Even though the features of the phone are yet unknown but it is reported that Galaxy M series will be an affordable lineup. This might be the reason that Samsung is launching these phones, initially in India as India is a leading market for budget devices sales.
