Samsung Rolls Out The Final Version On One UI 4.0 To Galaxy S21

Samsung has apparently tested enough of its Android 12 version with One UI 4.0. Instead of a fifth beta release, the group is now announcing the final version. When all the bugs from Beta 4 have been resolved, the new operating system will first land on the Galaxy S21 family.

Stable version established After Beta 4.0

In September we reported that Samsung had started the official beta test phase of Android 12 and One UI 4.0 – on this occasion, we also provided you with a list of the devices for which the update can be expected. Four beta versions later, the company now seems to have tested enough. After no new test participants have been accepted since the end of October and Beta 4 was released last week, the Community Manager is now providing an update on how to proceed, according to TizenHelp.

As the Samsung employee wrote in response to a question from a user in the Group’s South Korean community hub, it was decided not to deliver any further beta updates. This means that the next big update for the Galaxy S21 devices will be the official or stable Android 12-based One UI 4 version.

There Is No Beta 5 But Fixes

The current development plan, therefore, provides for solving as many of the problems discovered in Beta 4 as possible before the release. Experience shows that Samsung can of course eliminate any errors after the release with a hotfix update. The manager has not yet revealed an exact schedule for the introduction of One UI 4, but earlier posts suggest a release at the end of the month.

The models of the Galaxy S21 family are at the forefront of the launch of Android 12 and One UI 4.0, after which Samsung will supply the Galaxy S20, Z Fold3, Z Flip3, and Note20 models. As mentioned above, many more Galaxy models will follow in the next year.
