Samsung SAIT will organize AC/CE Challenge 2023 to identify and cultivate science and technology talent

The South Korean conglomerate is all set to recruit talent in science and technology. Reportedly, the company will be holding the ‘Samsung Artificial Intelligence/Computer Engineering Challenge 2023′ event under the umbrella of SAIT (Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology). Such an event will help the company improve its research and development. The event is mainly targeting undergraduates and graduates at local universities.

As per recent pieces of information, the event will be conducted from August 21 to October 20. It is the third time that Samsung will organize and conduct the Samsung AC/CE Challenge 2023. Students can apply as early as August 21. Reportedly, the AI challenge will be organized from August 21 to October 2, after which the CE challenge will be conducted until October 20. Its objective is to identify talent that will enable the growth of the research division and the development of future technology leaders.

Following this schedule, the results will be declared towards the end of October. The results will be available officially on Samsung Electronics SAIT’s website. In each category, 16 teams will compete against one another for a big prize. The winning team from each category will be rewarded with KRW 10 million. The team in the second rank and the two encouragement teams will be awarded KRW 5 million and KRW 3 million, respectively.

On November 7, the award ceremony will take place at the “Samsung AI Forum.” The tasks for the upcoming Samsung AI/CE Challenge 2023 include large-scale language in the field of CE, machine learning algorithms for semiconductor material simulation, simultaneous generation technology for quantitative and qualitative evaluation of camera image quality, and image recognition technology for autonomous driving using AI technology.
